today i had my coldstone's interview. that is the single most weird interview i have ever been to. considering it was my first time being the person interviewed, still that wasn't what i had in mind. so i get there and it's really casual. they interviewed like twelve people at once. one person conducted it. and she just asked us about ourselves. name, school, hobbies, stuff like that. and then we had to sing. we got like these songs and jingles we had to sing coldstone words to. it was a solo thing....those pour souls who had to listen to me. haha. i sang these coldstone lyrics to the tune of im a little teapot. by then i figured out, that the manager liked u if u were different. if u were outspoken and not afriad to do stuff. so yeah i decided to add a bonus thingy. i sang a coldstone melody to the foldgers jingle. "the best part of waking up, is coldstone's in a cup". haha, it was lame but she liked it. BUT, when i was done, marco jumps up and yells "u stole that from me. that was mine". haha...im like noooooooo.....he's a biter. i practically memorized all the commercial jingles. hahaha. it's my hobby.
well after that came home, did SAT work.....blah blah blah. dont think im getting much accomplished. i made a schedule and im having trouble sticking to it. but it's day three now since i made it, and im getting used to it. sigh, all this procrastination. *coughcoughluandsarmad* neeeeeways. i just checked my email. and it totally made my day. im sooooo happy now =D. well for my isearch i interviewed Wayne Freedman, abc 7 reporter. i shadowed him for the morning. and afterwards he told me he wanted to see a copy of my isearch. so i sent it to him as an attachment yesterday. and today when i checked it....this is what he wrote:
Stephanie,
That's a big project.
You write extremely well. It shows in your attention to the little details,
and in the way you insert your point of view without letting it get in the
way.
Sorry if I freaked you out that day. Never intended to be such a willful
personality, and didn't mean to 'output' so much. I had an idea of what I
thought you needed to know (might have been right or wrong), but I do hope
it ultimately helped.
Pursue the writing. Seriously. It's all a good read.
W.
hahahahahah...i was sooooooo happy when i read that! yay! cuz he's gottne like forty sumthing emmy's. and he was my best person i interviewed. he was totally cool, and he knew so much. and he was really strict about what u needed to do to get into journalism. so when i read that....i was all happy. hahahaha. so then that would be a perfect score on the isearch, plus the approval of a broadcast journalist...niiiiiice. im feeling proud of myself =D. well im out
