i hate paper. i was walking from first to second period with steph c., and i was rubber banding her art project when i got this FAT paper cut under my nail. i stopped in my tracks and i literally screeched. it was hella bleeding also. dangit. paper sucks. when i showed sarmad in history he told me he was immune to paper cuts, and he spent like 15 minutes trying to give himself a paper cut.

so...finals are coming up. the only reason i can't wait till they get here is so they can be over. haha. everyone seems to be freaking out about their borderline grades (including me), but mr.wallach had something very interesting (and true) to say about that.

i was in his class after school talking to him about my essay.
wallach: what did you get on it?
me: 170
wallach: that's actually very good. i know u probably wanted a 180.
me: yeah
wallach: but this was a very difficult paper to write and considering the circumstances you did a good job. i mean it didn't affect your grade in the class.
me: uh...yeah it did. my grade went down two percent. i have a 90 now.
wallach: does it matter? it's still an A.
me: well, im not like xin and i like that comfort zone going into the final. because then i wouldn't need to study or try as hard.
wallach: *laughs* well if you had a 92 you'd try just as hard as you would now.
me: good point....

i thought about what he said.....and he's totally right. im gonna study my ass off for the final, and im gonna heck of work on the evaluation paper. i mean even if i still had a 92 i'd try just as hard to keep my A. so he DOES have a good point. it doesn't really matter what grade you have as long as it's above a 89.5. same goes for my 91% in chem then. i feel releived of some frusturation now =D.

omg!!!! the LOTR poster in the library is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhh.....when i saw that empty space on the wall i hella freaked, and i asked the librarian what happened to it. there was SUPPOSED to be a silent auction for the poster. APPARENTLY, no one came to ask her about it so they just gave it to this girl denisse who asked them for the poster once they were done with it. i was like what?!?!?!!?!!?!??!?!? i freaking asked EVERY DAY when she was gonna have the silent auction for the poster. the lady said not enough people came to her about it, so she just gave it to denisse who was the first to ask for it. they just GAVE it to her. i WAS gonna ask in december but i CLEARLY remember ryan DRAGGING me out of the library at the end of class each time i was going to ask for it. he DRAGGED me out like three times. i blame this on ryan deto, and the librarian who gave it away for FREE to that one girl. stupid cow.

i've never seen that poster ANYWHERE before. it has ALLLLLLL the LOTR characters from fellowship to ROTK: the lady of the wood, halidir, etc. and it's gooonnnnneee!!!! nooooooo. and i had the PERFECT spot on my wall for it. im going to KICK ryan deto when i see him. i can't do anything to the librarian so i'll just hope someone else kicks her for me. *sigh*. my room would've been perfect with that poster. now it's un-perfect.
