im like a rag doll to tom. i really am. (for those that don't know tom shively), it's not like he's BIG but he's tall and pretty damn strong. he does all the heavy work in The Last Unicorn, including picking people up (who are supposedly flying). Yesterday night at rehearsals he said, "i need my very own stephanie wu to toss around and play with. (then he says to me) you're like a life-size doll." and then he picks me up and my head almost hits the ceiling. he swings me around like im five pounds and then when he hugs me, it feels like im about to break in half cuz he hugs really hard. i felt like my ribs were gonna be crushed. i'm making it a goal to gain fifty pounds so people will stop freaking picking me up. it's been like this ever since elementary school. goodness.....

these last two days have been the most fun i've had at rehearsals. friday night: me, jordan, corey, and richard were playing bs backstage. corey kept calling bs on richard and soon richard had practically half the deck of cards. when richard called bs on me and was wrong, he took all his cards, threw them down, and said, "F--- this game!" and storms out of the room. it was soooooo hilarious cuz richard NEVER says the F-word. hahahahahahahaha.

there's this one part in the play where james says, "i sinned and i sinned..." so when we had to stop in the middle of one scene cuz tech crew had to fix the sound, james stands behind brendan and says, "i SINNED and i SINNED" and he's thrusting his pelvis forward and pumping his hands. omg, it was so hilarious. cuz brendan is just standing there in his magician's cloak and hat while james is "sinning." hahahaha.

last night at the end of rehearsals tech crew put on techno music and everyone was going crazy. it was kinda weird cuz it's 11:00 at night, we're in the school amphitheater, there's techno music playing, and sean is pretending to rave. hahahaha. wow, these are definitely good times =D.

i think this is the best part of being in a play with so many different people. cuz even though i'll probably never talk to these people again when the play is over, we still had sooo much fun while it lasted. when i came in the play i really didn't know anyone. well, i knew tom, sean, and ursula but i didnt' have a lot of FUN at rehearsals cuz i was only acquainted with them and i didn't know anyone else. but as time went on we all got comfortable around each other and now it's just crazy fun as we get closer to opening night. and it doesn't bother me that i'm not forming lasting friendships (like i do with interactors) cuz everyone in the play is so different. we're all at different grade levels, we don't all hang out with the same crowd, and we all like different things; but that's what makes the whole play experience so fun. im excited for opening night =D.
