my sister is leaving for med school in july. one month before she leaves, my grandma is going to move in with us (for about a month) because my uncle and his family are going to China. and since she doesnt' want to be alone in the house, she's coming to live with us. well since my house is small, and we only have two bedrooms, my sister basically isn't coming home the month before she leaves. not that no one says she can't, but it'll be crowded in the house and my sister isn't a big family person. she'll probably come home once a week only because she has to tutor, but other than that she'll be with her bf. that's great. summer vacation starts and i have time to hang out, and she won't be around the month before she leaves.

last night my sister told me that i should come visit her in philly next summer. for some reason i thought she'd be coming home for the summer. stupid me, i didn't think that she can't leave her bf alone in philly for three months (since he's moving over there with her). so she'll be on the East coast year-round for four years. and i suppose i could visit her for the summer, but it won't be the same.

my grandma is going to stay in the U.S. for a few more months, then she's moving permanently to China.

oh, and one of my best friends is moving away senior year.

i can't even begin to imagine what life will be like next year.
