i went out to eat with madame kamei and the other french four kids after school today (reed, sam, and priya) at la creperie in the great mall. it was pretty fun. nice way to relax after school.
i think i'm the only person who watched the tony awards last night. they're soooo much better than the oscars, grammys, emmys, and golden globes. the tonys are just as witty and they're way more entertaining. im just sorry that i missed out on them before. the best part of the tonys are all the performances. the actors/actresses perform like one scene or one dance routine (if it's a musical) from various plays....and they are amazingly good.
there was a really hilarious peformance with this one guy singing and dancing in the musical "OZ". he goes onto the stage in the middle of the audience and starts dancing, thrusting his pelvis and all, and he says, "the people in the front row are looking kind of nervous now." sarah jessica parker is right in front of him and he says "i feel like some sex and the city now." then he invites her to come on stage and copy his moves. it was soooo funny cuz she looked so embarassed and she kept on holding her strapless dress up cuz she didn't want her boobs to fall out. it's really interesting how actresses like her are really good and outgoing on screen, but on stage in the new york city radio hall she looked all nervous and embarassed. and when the guy asked her if this was like a horrible dream he said, "don't worry. you're only doing this in front of six thousand people. and about thousands more on television."
i'm sooooo freaking happy. i got my new journalism essay back today. oh my freaking goodness, i got a 95%. i went into shock it was just so "wow." my FIRST A on an essay in that class. that makes me proud =D. it made me feel better after getting a depressingly low grade on my chem test. i can never have everything go well in my classes. if i do good in one class i do bad in the other. oh well. i think that grade sheet is going up on my wall =D.
melissa told me that there are virtually NO quidditch scenes in harry potter. there's only ONE where they show harry potter falling off of his broom. they dont even show the QUIDDITCH FINAL that GRYFFINDOR wins. grrrr...that means no oliver wood.
