Yesterday brian, michelle, and I went gallivanting around Fremont. It was great fun.
We started the day by climbing mission peak – didn’t make it to the top though. We stopped on a hill to eat lunch, got too comfy, and decided not to climb the rest of the way. On the way down we made a really fat penguin (brian’s idea) out of rocks. Then we took pictures with it. As we walked down some more we decided to get as close as we could to some cows and take pictures with them. That was interesting.
On our hike I realized that we’re such urbanized city kids. While we were eating lunch there were cows in the distance that kept on moo-ing and brian and I thought that the moo-ing was our cell phones vibrating. hahahaha. It sounds awfully similar.
So after our hike we went to the old mission san jose church. Explored the church, the graveyard, the gift shop, and the museum with it’s little doors that made us fell really tall =D. we found a dark closet with a note inside the door that said “don’t close the door from the inside because it will lock and you wont be able to get out.” There was a door at the back of the closet that we (well, more like I) tried to open. I got spooked out when brian said this was how a horror story starts. Michelle proposed to brian in the church at the alter – which was cute. She formally asked him to winterball. Awww.
Then we headed over to niles and walked around the town. Apparently there was a Christmas parade. And apparently it happens every year and I don’t know about it. So it was nice wandering in and out of antique stories with all these beautiful Christmas lights and decorations.
And to top it all of we had pho for dinner. Yum =D.
I was out for the entire day, I had loads of fun, and I never left Fremont. And I only spent seven bucks – which was for food. I had no idea I could have so much fun in Fremont. Plus all the fun we had was free. Good times.
We didn’t go to crowded places like the mall or the bowling alley or the movies, so we got to talk the whole time (and tell lame jokes). we talked about ryla, the meaning of life (we really did – it was kinda funny), michelle’s FAT BRUISE (which resulted from her being bitten by her drunk brother), and a whole bunch of other stuff. While we were on mission peak – well not really the peak, but on a hill – we saw two people hang gliding. It looked so freaking awesome. I hecka wanna do that, and I wanna land in someone’s backyard and scare the crap out of them. hahaha.
Thanksgiving day was awesome fun also. I loaded up on salad, turkey, and mashed potatoes at my uncle’s house. I went a tad crazy during dinner and started saying random harry potter incantations at people. hahaha. I pointed a butter knife at my mom and said “crucio.” She looked completely confused when my cousins and I busted out laughing. OH MY GOODNESS – I finally saw Spiderman 1. It was on t.v thanksgiving night. Tobey Maguire (sp?) has REALLY nice teeth. It was the scene where he was getting all beat up by the green globin, and his face was so bloody – but underneath all the blood were some really straight white teeth. Blows your mind. Now I just gotta watch spiderman 2.
This thanksgiving break has been so nice and relaxing. No hw, no projects, and I’ve gotten a lot done with my private college essays =D.
Wow. This entry was long.
