guys and dolls is over. closing night was great. everyone had so much freaking energy, it was insane. and since it was closing night, everyone pulled their final stunts. techies put unwrapped condoms in a box that brent had to open on stage, the girls unexpectedly kissed the guys on stage, hotbox girls ripped off their dresses during the bow, cops ran into each other on stage.....it was all great.

random insert:
(last night while we were bowling at cloverleaf we were being so freaking obnoxiously loud. carlo was there and he came over to see if he knew any one of the people that were screaming their lungs out. in his words, "i didn't see you. i went over and all i saw was a whole bunch of white people." hahahaha.)

i'm so thankful that i've had the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful production. i've never gotten so attached to a cast. we love each other so much. now i'll just be going home after school. no more going to rehearsal at 2:45 to find Jason leading everyone in "Shout" or listening to Brent and Jason talk in song to the tune of "Luck be a Lady" or telling corny jokes that only jordan s. and jordan a. appreciate, or getting into a circle for our pre-show prayers, where we all hum and clap like the soldiers in the movie "Glory," while Alex jumps around shouting a crazy prayer.

as much as rehearsal made my life extremely hectic, i wouldn't trade the eight hour rehearsals, ballin's "brickwall-ness", or the lack of sleep for anything in the world. we've had some crazy good times together. we've laughed, cried, sang, danced, acted, set off firecrackers in the parking lot of jack in the box, taken sugar shots, played crazy drinking games at denny's, abused the techies, tailgated it in the parking lot of abeltersons at midnight, screamed our lungs out while bowling at cloverleaf, played poker backstage (well that was just the guys), and so much more. this has been a great experience. i love you Guys and Dolls cast. You all rock my socks so much, and i'll never forget any of you.
