This morning I ran to Kaiser to get my glasses fixed (they were crooked because I sat on them), and while I was running back home both my glasses and my Kaiser card fell out of my pocket. Halfway home I realized that they weren't in my pocket, so I retraced my steps and found my Kaiser card lying in the middle of the crosswalk....but my glasses weren't there. If a car ran over them I would've seen it smashed in the middle of the road, but since I didnt' seen anything.....I guess someone took them. Jerk.
My mom's insurance covers new glasses every two years, but my two years aren't up until February '06. And since my eyesight is steadily getting worse, I need new glasses right now. And my dad's making me pay them myself What am I going to do...I don't have $170.
Fuck. I can't beleive I lost my glasses. Please, shove my head in a blender now.

Good times in Chicago. And let’s remember, that some things that happen in Chicago will stay in Chicago. Yeah, you guys know what I’m talking about. Well, since I’m talking about my Chicago trip with DC, I might as well talk about DC…
District Council has made my senior year worthwhile, and it’s given me such great memories. There’s something about being a part of the DC/Ryla family that’s really hard to explain. Everyone has had such an impact on me as a person, and they’ve all given me so much. I feel so comfortable around everyone. We’re more than just friends…we’re family. We’ve actually only known each other for a year, but it feels like we’ve known each other since the beginning of high school. We may not know everything about each other or each others’ lives, but in the end it doesn’t matter because we can be ourselves around each other. Anything we do or say is ok with DC. Everyone’s so down-to-earth and accepting. The things I do with DC I wouldn’t do with my other friends. It doesn’t mean I value DC more than my other friends…it’s just a different kind of friendship. I think it has to do with how we met each other and how we got to know each other. With my close friends here in Fremont, I got to know them through school and activities over a couple of years. But with DC we were all Rylarians and we became friends not through divulging our deepest secrets, telling each other about ourselves, and knowing facts about our lives….but by getting to know each other as people. Does that make sense? Well I was talking about this to JP on our last day in Chicago, and it makes sense to us. So that’s all that counts
I don’t know what I would’ve done without DC. They keep me insane and sane at the same time. I can’t believe that DC is actually over. There’s nothing else for us to do together as District Council. There’s no more Doubletree meetings, Rotary conventions with Laura, FLC’s, lunches after DC meetings, etc. I know that everyone on DC will go on to college and accomplish great things because they’re all such wonderful, brilliant, intelligent leaders that are so compassionate about helping others. Even though I love DC to death there were times on the Chicago trip that we all got pissed, annoyed, and irked at each other. But what can you expect….put 14 teenagers together 24/7 for one week…and on top of that everyone’s a leader. “Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.” But we all got over it, and things turned out good =D.
College isn’t here yet, and there is still an entire summer to have DC outings. Talking about DC has made me reminiscent about Ryla. It’s been one year since I went to Ryla. I would never go back again as a camper because it’s a one-time thing, but I wish I could have that same feeling I had at Ryla. I literally had no cares in the world, and everything was just…perfect. I was so happy and content with life. I’m not saying I’m not happy now…it’s just that Ryla was a place to get away from everything. Ryla was a place away from the world, reality, and society. How nice. I hope Jean and Duc had a good experience.
I haven’t talked about Graduation or Grad Nite yet. I shall do that at a later date. I love how I’m going in backwards chronological order. It’s 11pm now, and everything is quiet. I want my 13 crazy DC members back.
I’m gonna go clean.

Last friday was fun though. Hung out with Bjay, JP, and Michelle. We made stuff for Chicago, got cheap stuff from the new TapEx, ate JP's food (her mom makes REALLY good spaghetti), and camera-whored like CRAZY.
I always thought that camera-whoring was something DC + 2 did whenever we got together. But, I guess enough has rubbed off on us that we camera-whore with anyone, anywhere. hahaha. Funny thing happened in the car when we were dropping Michelle off. JP dropped her cell under her seat and this is what the conversation was like...
JP: I can feel it vibrating
Michelle: Oh good stuff. Go deeper maybe?
Bjay and I were sitting in the backseat when they were having that conversation and we BUSTED out laughing. I think Bjay's corrupted me. Whoever said he was innocent?
At Borders that night (Bjay went out in JP's powderpuff uniform) we ran into Paul, Eric, and Mr.Anderson. Weird. Mr.Anderson is the most BIZARRE teacher ever. And Paul blows bubbles into his apple juice.
Last day of school tomorrow. WOOT!
I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR CHICAGO. DC IS GONNA OWN THAT CITY =D

I want a pizookie.

I want to...
- Watch the local theater group (the Broadway Theater place down Fremont)
- See the Lost City (a bunch of abandoned, creepy-looking early 1900 houses)
- Eat at Bob's Giant Burgers
- Go horseback riding on the beach (Laura: my cravings for princess, fairy-tale excursions are all your fault)
- Go to a drive-in movie
- Go ice skating in an open rink under the stars
- Go to Paramount Theateres in Oakland (I went there once with Deto, Jenn, and Karina to watch the Graduate. Very fun.)
- Go to Fisherman's Wharf, ride the cable cars, hang out in SF at night, and lie on a hill (Laura, this is all your doing)
- Ballroom dancing, salsa, waltz, swing, etc. (Again, Laura this is your influence)
- Watch local bands play...hit up some free concerts =D
- Run through the sprinklers....OH MAN, I heck of want to play on a slip and slide. hahahaha
- Have a picnic
- Actually climb to the TOP of Mission Peak
If you wanna be cool like me and go all over Fremont/Bay Area, call me up =D. I need to enjoy Bay Area life and California weather while I can. My sister tell me that there's a huge thunderstorm in Philly right now. Great. Well, I'm sure I could add more to this list (and I eventually will), but finals studying is calling to me. Later all.

- Flower power – chrysanthemum, lily, orchid
- She doesn’t like porridge!
- Rock, paper, scissor…and slapping
- The sun shines too hard
- IN CALLING! yeah, we're cool
- The Atkins diet is RACIST! hahahahaha
It’s funny watching Nick and Jenny cap on each other. How very entertaining for me =D.
After the game we met up with Patrick at Applebees. JENNY AND I OWN AT THE SUGAR PACKET GAME. Both Nick and Patrick ate three sugar packets each. I think that was a lot for Patrick’s system because he went beserk in the parking lot. Oh, funny moment…we were all talking on this mound of grass in the middle of the parking lot when we heard a noise. It was hilarious cuz we all stopped talking, paused for a second and then freaking sprinted off that hill in different directions because the sprinklers came on. “The ground’s having an erection!” hahahaha, Patrick. Afterwards we went to Nick’s house to play cranium because Jenny’s never played before. It was really short with only two teams.
School tomorrow. Finals on Wednesday and Thursday. I do beleive that I am screwed.

I went to work after that, and afterwards I headed over to Half Moon Bay with Daveed and Patrick for a bonfire that ended up not happening because they’re illegal on Venice Beach. Even though things didn’t go according to plan, I still had a good time. It could’ve been more fun if there were more people and if we actually got a bonfire going, but it wasn’t a waste of an evening. Got to talk with my friends and play this band-artist naming game (that I did NOT lose at)…so it’s all gravy.
Thanks for dinner (I love pho) and thanks for driving us Daveed!
And no thanks for taking me to C and J’s. I actually knew where we were going, and yet I still walked in there. What's wrong with me. I can't beleive you would spend money to buy these cards. Magic geeks.

I have too much fun with JP…
- Sexual innuendos with the shirt
- KEY THE CAR
- We’re too comfortable around each other
- Wife beater. HAHA
- Water in wine glasses
- Winking and licking lips
- 670 dollars!!! High rollers…
This week has been very relaxing. I haven’t been getting homework so Tuesday night I went to Target with Mark where he bought many random things: basketball, dvd, chapstick (for me), and crackers. Last night me, JP, and Patrick visited Alan and then we headed over to Nick’s house to edit mine and JP’s econ video.
I got back a little while ago from senior awards nights. Congratulations to everyone who won! Freaking Krystal won like 2456789153 awards, but she deserves it cuz she works insanely hard.
For Chicago, JP and I have raised a total of 870 dollars from our freaking AWESOME Niles Rotary club. They rock my electric blue socks. I actually don’t have electric blue socks, but it’d be nice to have a pair.
My dad is talking really loudly on the phone….right behind me. He has volume control problems. I’m out. Later.
